Taking a Stand and Making a Difference!

Thesis:
What is your main opinion that you will be defending with your research and trying to solve in your proposal?

Proposals should include the following:
" A brief summary of the problem you believe exists with facts to support your opinion
" A solution to your stated problem
" How your solution can be implemented
" Positive effects your solution will create
" Complete grammatically correct sentences and paragraphs (spell/grammar check AND edit!)

Visual aids should:
" Look professional and clean
" Have information in large, legible writing (preferably typed)
" Be colorful and eye-catching
" Have information chunked into small, clear sections
" Be free of grammatical and spelling errors
" Should be visible from all locations in the classroom (large enough to be seen in the back of the room)

Presentations should:
" Be 5-7 minutes in length
" Be well organized
" Be audible
" Be free of grammatical errors (use standard English)
" Be given by those who are dressed professionally (dress up)
" Include facts you have researched
" Include questions from the panel
" Include your visual aid, but not depend on it

If you follow the requirements & directions, your grade will be top-notch!
